Pink Hub Club 2025-26
Pink Hub Club has been active since May 2025, and I have been involved with them since the very beginning!
They were organizing a series of events for Stonewall Day at Weston-super-Mare. and were looking for a volunteer to design a poster. For those unfamiliar, Stonewall Day is a landmark moment in LGBTQIA+ history, marking the riots that sparked a global movement for equality and justice.
For the Poster design, I wanted it to look like a collage to capture the energy of Stonewall Day. The brief for this poster was to capture the history of Stonewall Day whilst also informing the public of the day's activities.
Then it moved onto creating a brand followed by a website. From October 2025 I was voted onto the committee as secretary, and it was through Pink Hub Club that I was introduced to a group of people that wanted to relaunch a Pride for Weston Super Mare - Pride projects can be found here.
Branding
When the team approached me with a hand-drawn concept, I was so excited to bring it to life. The iconic triangle symbol holds immense meaning, and I wanted the design to reflect that strength—something that feels like a movement, a symbol you’d want to wear every day. It was a true joy to create something that wasn’t just a logo, but a statement of pride.
Website
The purpose of this website was to be an established online presence as well as being a source of information for the community to find out what events are taking place by Pink Hub Club.
